∞As we see more seasons pass, the occasions to gather friends and family sometimes seem to shift from milestones of building lives to transitions of the sort we like to not consider. That is part of our humanity, though our culture may seem to distract from and blur both grief and beauty. We get caught in the current like a small sea creature, over-scheduled, over-committed and over-stressed.For us, we are grateful for a late summer refresher course, as we attended the wedding of a childhood friend and the mate she met as a fully formed, whole person, mid-century modern love. Thankful to be included as a part of the gathering to celebrate joy, we find our own spirit of optimism and hope refilled. A blessing. ∞

What a beautiful thought. So eloquently expressed. Thank you.
Thank you Cherie – it was a great opportunity to be part of such a warm, kind & supporting circle.
