Uncomplicated summer hols – quiet afternoons, waiting for the evening loon races on the lake,

or just watching the light change on the water…

we chased water eastward, then back. Appreciating the moist tho shorter growing season, the greener scenery which contrasts so with the ‘Golden State’ most years.

This year in California, a long, dry year, we envy the green humidity of lush places.
